Volvo in turn leaves the Association of European Automobile Manufacturers
A few weeks after the multinational group Stellantis, the Swedish manufacturer Volvo Cars has also just announced its departure from the Association of European Automobile Manufacturers (AEAM) at the end of 2022. The Volvo group evokes differences of points views and strategies on the electrification of the European vehicle fleet.
A month ago, the Stellantis group announced its departure from the Association of European Automobile Manufacturers, an organization that is often presented as the “lobby” of the automotive industry.
Number two in Europe and number four in the world, the Stellantis group will soon be imitated by Volvo Cars, which has also just announced its withdrawal from AEAM at the end of 2022.
